Great easy to read and most importantly REALISTIC approach to becoming debt free. Compliments her television show and show's you how you can be debt free too. I have implemented her approach and am well on my way. Gail makes you think twice about your current spending in order to be prepared for the future. She doesn't sugar coat a thing, but doens't make you feel guilty about how you may have ended up in debt either, and gives you realistic ways to fix it. Easy to implement in your day to day life if YOU have the motivation to do so.

If you've ever watched Gail's show "Til Debt Do Us Part", you'll know what you're getting here. Straightforward, "no bull" advice which although may be difficult to follow at all times, will be good for you if you do. This book includes a lot of advice I wish someone had told me 25 years ago. Recommended.

I thought this book had some very good and practical advice. I recommend reading it to those people who have trouble managing their money. I did however find that the book was largely targeted towards overconsumers, and "shopaholics". I do agree that she has some great methods for developing better money managing skills, but I find it hard to relate to some of the things she talks about.

Best book for reducing and getting rid of your debt. I read it this time last year, followed the steps and now I am debt-free. Very straight forward, no mumbo jumbo and easy to follow. As previous poster said, a must buy and then share it with your friends & family.

The same information provided on her show on tv. If you haven't seen that show and want to know how to get out of debt this book is for you.

Excellent! You certainly need more than 3 weeks to get through the steps of this book! I think it's a "must buy". This book opened my eyes to my financial reality along with ways to help, no nonsense style yet with a little humour to crack you up from time to time.
