Add a CommentExcellent, compelling and amazingly covered documentary. The best I have seen, an entire and rivoting history lesson all on DVD. A must see!
A good 6 hour summary of WWII. The majority of the action takes place in Europe and Africa. The action that takes place between Japan and China is largely omitted. The producers seemed to have believed that fake colorizing was a necessity to increase the number of people that would want to view it. The cuts to interactive maps help the viewer understand the battles and strategies that follow.
A++ All the way….A must have DVD in all Libraries - worth the long library wait and WORTH the cost of owing!
Very selective, and sometimes imaginative, history. Colorized , and some of the film footage is reversed (miror image, look at the store signs). Certainly very graphic.
