Baker & Taylor
One of the best quarterbacks in the history of college football traces his path to success, discussing his childhood as the son of Christian missionaries and how his faith combined with his drive to succeed have made him the person he is today.

Zondervan House
Former University of Florida star quarterback, first round draft pick of the Denver Broncos, and devout Christian, Tim Tebow, tells the story of his faith, his life, and football. Written with Nathan Whitaker, a three-time New York Times bestselling coauthor (with Tony Dungy), this book will be the first look inside the mind of an athlete whose faith and ability have made him one of the most provocative figures in football.
Over the course of the last four years, Tim Tebow has established himself as one of the best quarterbacks in the history of college football. During that time he has amassed an unparalleled resume, winning two BCS national championships, becoming the first sophomore to win the Heisman trophy, and in the face of massive public scrutiny, being drafted in the first round by the Denver Broncos-all while wearing his devout Christianity on his sleeve. Both on and off the field, he's shown himself to be a thoughtful and inspiring figure whose faith and character are evident in everything he does. Indeed, though still in college, he's been uniquely successful at using his celebrity to help others, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars to support charities and mission work in this country and around the world. In an age when our sports stars so rarely live up to their reputations and their responsibilities Tim Tebow does both. In this memoir, Tebow effectively combines his football story with his faith, showing people everywhere how his belief has led to his success on the field. From his birth in the Philippines to missionary parents to his home schooling to his historic run as the quarterback of one of college football's most storied programs, Tebow guides the reader through the highs and lows of his life, always reminding people of the role that God has played in his journey. More than a sports book, more than a book about faith, this memoir is a rare combination of humility, humanity, and honesty that offers a look inside a truly unique athlete whose skill is matched only by his belief. Publishing to coincide with Easter 2011, this engaging and evocative book will resonate whether the reader is a Christian, a football fan, or both, providing a football story unlike any other.

"The first verse that came to mind was one of my favorites, Philippians 4:13: 'I can do all things through Christ who strenthens me.' That was perfect to summarize my approach to football, and it seemed like a good verse to go with the first time out of the box. Paul's point is that Christ gives us the ability to be content with a little or a lot." --Tim, on the first time he wrote a verse onto the black under his eyes for a game.

"Father, if you want another preacher in this world, you give him to me. You give me Timmy, and I will raise him to be a preacher." Tim Tebo's Dad, before Tim was conceived.

Great book even for those who are not football fans. Tim Tebow, one of the great college players of all time, tells his story. Tim tells his story from being born in the Philippines to missionary parent (whose mother was told the pregnancy was too risky and that she must abort him), to his young years growing up, loving sports, being competitive. "My dad says that I wasn't much fun to throw with, even at age four. Apparently, even then I was a bit too intense and threw pretty hard," says Tebow on his early years. He also takes the story through his decision to play college football for the Florida gators, and his draft pick by the Denver Broncos, where he's now quarterback. Gives an inside view on his games. First sophomore to ever win the Heisman trophy, Tim is a humble, funny, excellent athlete. Also talks about his Christian faith, what it means to him, his upbringing, and how he started putting scripture references (book, chapter and verse) in his eye black while at Florida. Cool guy. Great story. Easy to read and understand the football stuff (lots of descriptions of his games) even for those who aren't familar with the game. Photos. Also available in large print, audibook, and e-book formats.

With the fame came people wondering about Tim Tebow and sometimes trying to tell his story without knowing him. So here, to set the record straight, is Tim's story through his own eyes. Written with Nathan Whitaker. Photos. Relaxed, interesting. For those who love football, and also for those who don't--but like a great true story.
