Favorite Movie Quote: "Rapunzel, let down your hair!"

"Now, don't freak out!"... Uh? Hello!?... Like, did the dopey script-writers really have sweet Rapunzel utter those very words?... Did they!?... Yep. They did. Indeed! - And in what period of time did Tangled's fairy-tale story take place?

You know, when frightened Rapunzel first raised that cast-iron frying pan to royally crown the dashing bandit, Flynn Ryder, over the head (after he'd invaded her tower-home), I just knew that that innocent, little implement would, sure enough, come in mighty handy (again and again) and serve as a great defense weapon, whenever one might need it.

In spite of it flaws, I admit that I quite enjoyed Tangled, overall.

I liked the bad-boy Stabbington brothers. I liked the hot-tempered horse, Maximus. I liked the mute, gesticulating chameleon, Pascal.

And I really liked the emphasis that was clearly placed on the story's position when it came to matters such as trust, honesty, and unselfish sacrifice.

But, with that all said - Even though Rapunzel, herself, was a likable enough character, in her own right, I thought that her running around, forever barefoot, even over jagged rocks, or whatever, or trailing 70 feet of hair behind her through dust and dirt, and saying really inane stuff like - "I will never let you use my hair again!" was a bit much, at times.

Oh - Well - Show me an absolutely perfect motion picture and I'll gladly reveal to you all sorts of words that exist in the English language which rhyme with either burgundy, or silver, or orange.

Disney once again rewrites a classic fairy tale, this time Rapunzel, but does it with such sparkle that I found myself smiling and humming along with all those cute animated characters just the same. Locked in a tower ever since she was a baby by the nefarious “Mother Gothel” because of her magical hair’s ability to grant immortality (as long as it’s brushed regularly and never ever cut) the kidnapped princess Rapunzel has nothing but her imagination and precocious pet chameleon to keep her company. Leery of the outside world thanks to Gothel’s exaggerated accounts of the villains and monsters which inhabit it the princess, now eighteen, nevertheless wonders about what lies beyond her stone walls, especially the mysterious lights she sees floating in the night sky every year on her birthday. When the charming thief Flynn Rider accidentally winds up in Rapunzel’s tower room she finally sees a chance to escape her dreary captivity and experience life for the first time—but Flynn is being hunted by the king’s guards (and one very determined king’s horse) and the naïve princess soon realizes she may have bitten off more than she can chew. Gothel, meanwhile, will stop at nothing to get her ridiculously long-haired “daughter” back… Featuring impeccable animation and a host of surprisingly catchy tunes that range from exuberant slapstick—a Monty Python-style song & dance number at the “Snuggly Duckling” tavern is priceless—to wistful cartoon romance as thief and princess sing to each other beneath a sky glowing with paper lanterns. Made for little girls, but I liked it too!

Who wouldn't love this romantic comedy adventure with a silly Rapunzel and a charming Flynn! Not to mention their adorable, and hilarious animal companions! It's Disney. it's a musical. it's 110% worth it. You'll fall in love with the characters! I especially love Flynn (Eugene) Rider who is voice by...♥Zachary Levi!

I'll agree with my sister that there are some things I like and don't like about this film. I hate Mother Gothel, and it's so sad - and surprising - when Flynn cuts Rapunzel's hair. But, hey, he had to. I don't agree with Ana, though, that Frozen is better than Tangled and Brave. Brave is the best, and so is Tangled!

There are some things that I like about Tangled, like some songs, When Will My Life Begin, for example. There are also the funny parts with the frying pan as well. But there are some things that I don't like… Mother Gothel, for example. This would be my least favourite of the Disney- Pixar movies, along with Brave. I like Frozen better.
