Summary

After super-villain Megamind (Ferrell) kills his good-guy nemesis, Metro Man (Pitt), he becomes bored since there is no one left to fight. He creates a new foe, Titan (Hill), who, instead of using his powers for good, sets out to destroy the world, positioning Megamind to save the day for the first time in his life.

Add a CommentMega-Awful, beyond words!_____ Like, would someone, please, do us all a big-big favor and annihilate that utterly contemptible buffoon, Will Ferrell, before he's permitted to appear (voice only, or otherwise) in another movie?_____ Featuring every hackneyed wisecrack and piss-awful movie-cliche imaginable in the book (and, then some), Megamind seemed so pig-headedly intent on outdoing every other "superhero" movie ever made out there that it repeatedly fell all over itself, again and again._____ Tacky, juvenile, and predictable (right down to Metroman's reappearance), Megamind proved to be a real test of my patience._____ And, as a last straw to a seemingly endless foray of lousy humor and despicable characters (Ferrell's wasn't the only one), Megamind actually had the frickin' gall to end its story on a real bum-note with the strains of Michael Jackson's "Bad" blaring out over the airwaves._____ Now, if the obvious connotation connected with the word "bad" here didn't sum up Megamind in a literal nutshell, then I don't know what other word would do..... Do you?

It’s all about fate vs. free will, and it’s entertaining.
This movie was over the top!! I loved how Metroman was an exaggerated/arrogant version of Superman-and I loved it!! The music, animation, facial features, and story line was so dynamic that I could watch it 3X's in one day!! 5/5 Stars from me and Dreamworks is moving up the ladder-Pixar/Disney Better watch out........... :)
Absolutely HILARIOUS movie. Great story. The animation (facial expressions!) was excellent. Will Ferrell nailed it as Megamind... the entire cast of voice actors was selected perfectly, for that matter. (Co-executive producer - Ben Stiller!) I loved it. FIVE STARS.

This was a great movie. Will Ferrel did a fantastic job on this along side Jonah Hill and Brad Pitt. The soundtrack was second to none with AC\DC, Guns'n'Roses, Ozzie, and lots more. I would strongly recommend this movie.

I've seen this movie many times and I never tire of it; it has so many layers visually and in the script. This movie is fantastically funny. And it's great plot reveals the nature of true evil - a dank lare and black cape do not make one a true villain; a dark heart and selfish actions do.
I though it was great. Will Ferrell and Jonah Hill were excellent
