This season happens to be the closest to the book. From about season 2 or 3 hardly anything's from the books. :( But at least they make up for it with the Oleson family! :) I would have liked LHOTP more if it followed the books more closely.

I liked the series alot but loved the earlier series much better than the later series.
Was fun watching the kids growing up and learning hoow to live in a small house.
the later ones ma and pa were in the city and the kids were apart alot.
Didnt reallly like those much.

Shows like this don't really exist today. Good family values and lessons to be learned in almost every historical episode. Glad to be able to watch again!

I really enjoy reading the books and watching the show!
