Add a CommentI remember loving this movie as a kid. I have no clue why at this point. I love H.P. Lovecraft and I love the story this is based on. That being said, this "cult classic" does not hold up well to the test of time. There are some decent effects, but the acting is terrible and there just isn't anything scary about the movie. I suppose there is supposed to be some dark humor here, like Return of the Living Dead or the Evil Dead movies, but I missed it. I won't be watching this ten years from now to see if I still like it. Reanimator is dead to me ( with no chance the glowing green liquid will revive it. )
