Initially, I did not think that I would enjoy it since this film did begin rather slowly, albeit somewhat boring. Then it picked up and kept my interest to the end. I enjoyed how everything played out, especially the happenings in the haunted house and the seance.

This is one of those hidden little gems, a creepy Haunted House movie with lots of suspense and plenty of scares. All in all it is a pretty good movie, that is definitely worth checking out.

There are few media events that cause my body hair to stand erect with fear; one is listening to the annual state of the union address, the other is watching "The Changeling." Every aspect of this film is profound.

Minnie Huxley: That house is not fit to live in. No one's been able to live in it. It doesn't want people.
