… More »Dom Cobb is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state, when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb's rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved. Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible--inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one. If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. But no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming.

Add a Commenti love this movie!! sooooooooooooo freaking awesome. Its on my top 5 movies
Great movie. The acting is great, and the story too! I like that it makes you think, wonder if are they dreaming or not. Like the end of the movie, was DiCaprio dreaming at the end? or did he woke up? This movie became my favorite movie instantly!
Inception ---- (DVD 2010) The effects are awesome ---- And you will have to listen well! ---- Enjoy! ----RichardPaul (finished 2- 2013)
Add me to the list of people who don't get it. The premise, while creative, is shaky and the pseudo-science is clunky and even silly. The production design and effects are what I would expect from a modern sci-fi/thriller, nothing extraordinary. The acting is generally competent but left me cold. I thought the casting of Ellen Page was particularly strange. My attention wandered throughout.
This is thinking man's science-fiction (for those aren't sure, thats a good thing).
Evidently, I'm one of the minority that didn't get all 'hot and bothered' over this Christopher Nolan project. Granted, it deserves credit for its original concept, (although it DEFINITELY had a Matrix feel to it). And yeah, the CGI was terrific. Whoopee. The characters weren't anywhere in the vicinity of engaging. I think DiCaprio is overrated. And I found the premise to be convoluted nonsense, and to be painfully honest... boring. Gee... Not ANOTHER dream world! Didn't see that coming!! Blah blah blah. Dream dream dream. Crash boom bang. WAKE UP ALREADY! ...Whatever. I wasn't impressed. "To each - his own".
Superb movie with lots of interesting Ideas packed into it. This a movie that forces you to watch it several times and it helps to read the synopsis on IMDB. Excellent performances by the cast and Chris Nolan proves again that he can craft a Hollywood film with brains.
Great movie to watch on a long road trip and you have a teenager. Trust me i'm one and for school it made the 10 hour trip to Arkansas seem much faster for the first few hours.
For all the hype around this movie, I found it to be pretty boring. The performances are all good, but what passes for a storyline is nothing I haven't seen done better before.
could not get interested, either!!
