Add a CommentThis book is a great book for expression. If you understand this poem deeply, it will turn into one of the greatest stories in history. I also like that for the first time, some one has illustrated this book.
This book is great.
I like the poem or song or whatever it was. It was really nice to read and the illustrations only enhanced the story.
Well this book confused me because i didn't know when they started singing the future song in the book so...but it is still really interesting.
I didn't really like this book a lot. All I liked about it was the illustrations. The words were kind of hard to understand. I think the author might be bussy trying to make the words ryhme, he didn't even know what he is writing him self.
this book is good
Very good pictues.
A highly enjoyable picture book as an adult. The notes at the back of the book about the illustrations are key to getting the full experience of this title. Students would benefit from discussing this text with a teacher. It really makes you think about the railroad and the price many paid to lay it down across Canada.
I like the song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the illustrations sure did help. the artists comments however were terrible.
