I loved al th4e details she put in and the research she invested in to the creation of this book. I for one liked the ending because she finally understood what she did and was not trying to cover it up anymore and how she uncovered herself of her denial and faced reality in the best way she could.

Really good, but I felt the ending was pretty abrupt.

ok, so i started this book and could not put it down. i couldnt stop thinking about the other girls like Devin, the girls who were scared and didnt know what to do with their baby. But i was very disappointed in the ending. it just frustrated me so much. I did not agree with it at all. i would have given it a out of 5, but i only gave it a three. It was like the writer ran out of ideas and needed to finish the book quickly.

Very moving novel. You could feel how Devon felt throughout. The twist ending caught me off guard, but still very good. I couldn't put it down.

This novel was very moving and even painful to read at times, as I could almost feel the fear and anxiety Devon went through. In some ways I could relate to her behavior, like the way Devon always payed close attention to her surroundings. Even though the main character gave off a quiet and reserved attitude, her inner thoughts were quite loud and fervent. The birth of Devon's "dumpster baby" was a stomach churner and gave me a much more dismal view of childbearing. In media, the birth of a child is usually depicted as something to celebrate. Reading the Author's Note showed me otherwise. Not only was the plot intriguing, but Efaw's writing style was exceptional. She really knew how to set the mood of the moment. There was no need for long-winded descriptions or arduous words to depict the setting or emotions of her characters. It was simple, straightforward, but left a heavy impression on those who read this novel. To wrap things up, I highly recommend this to people curious on the topic of teen pregnancy or to anyone who likes a darker, grittier take on teen novels.

A beautifully and intensely written book that made my skin crawl. The plot hooked me right from the beginning, and brought me to tears of emotion at the end.

I enjoyed reading this book. It was a little hard to follow with the past memories and present times in some areas, but overall quite good. I was a little disappointed with the ending, as it leaves u wondering what happens. Hopefully there will be another book in the series.
