It definitely wasn't a story I breezed through, though it was a short read. I just really felt detached reading this novel. It might have been because I haven't read the first, but I really doubt that (considering i've read 2nds before and not felt this). It really tells you all you need to know about the first when its questioned in this book, so it feels abit odd to have myself thinking this way. Hmm, I still really enjoyed the over-all theme of the book though. Gotta love Victorian debutante eras.

Another light, fantasy-romance with early Victorian era witches enjoying their Season.

Heavier on the romance side than the magic which was a bit disappointing after the more interesting first book.

Light reading, but with a great mix of historical romance and urban fantasy. Fun for young and young at heart...
