I had lost my interest in Curb after the sixth season. I wasn't too fond of his wife, Cheryl's departure, nor of Larry's disintegrating relationships with his manager Jeff and friend Richard Lewis since those relationships were a large part of why the show worked in the first place. They created a sense of camaraderie, even as Larry fought with almost everyone he met. Season six just felt frustrating rather than funny as result of this. But there is no reason to fret because this season is a complete return to form. Awkward, insensitive, selfish, honest, realistic (sometimes only to us, sometimes only to himself) Larry David is back to offend and create enemies out of a wide range of celebrities in a story arc that culminates in a fictionalized Seinfeld reunion. While the situations are a little more outlandish and not as realistic as the first two seasons and the writing a little hackneyed, the acting is spot on and guaranteed to entertain. While parts of it may bewilder and be a little too difficult to watch, nothing beats the piece de resistance of watching moments such as when Larry David physically fights Rosie O' Donnell at a restaurant while proclaiming, "she started it!" As you can tell, the Seinfeld reunion is not even the best part.

Fantastic season of Curb, focusing on the Seinfeld reunion. Leon is also still in this season and he is hilarious. If you have never watched Curb your Enthusiasm, instantly get season 1 from the library and you'll be hooked. It may take a couple episodes to get used to Larry David's humour and you might find some of the situations he gets himself in are almost hard to watch but you'll love it. There are always great guest stars and an amazing cast. This is probably the best comedy on TV right now and Season 7 shows no sign of fatigue.
