Covers some of the same moral dilemmas as the creators' earlier series, SLEEPER, but inverted: here, the protagonist is a paroled super-powered villain who's invited to secretly aid the good guys. It then takes off in a different direction. If you're bored with brightly colored superheroes, this dimly lit, downbeat tale might pique your interest.

Love it! What if superpowers were an accepted part of life and super-villains could turn State's evidence and enter witness protection? File clerk jobs and pseudonyms would be really boring for those villains, and then what would happen?!

I highly recommend Incognito. I picked it up because I loved Ed Brubaker's and Sean Phillips' Criminal. This is just as good but in sci-fi pulp hero genre. Brubaker and Phillips are the best adult comic adventure team creators going.

Really liked Criminal and Sleeper, so had high expectations for this one - and it totally lived up to it! Also liked the Bill Hader introduction. Ed Brubaker can do no wrong!

Criminals + capes + Brubaker = definitely worth your time. Mature readers.
