A 'cute' movie but somethings are certainly predictable.

this is one of those large ensemble movies with famous actors popping up all over the screen ... makes you wonder if all these people owed favors to Garry Marshall. It was a cute series of intertwined stories with downturns all over the place, that in the end, resolve themselves.

whew! How many stars can you put in a movie at the same time without driving the audience crazy! This one tipped that balance. We felt as though there should have been three or four separate movies here. The military mom home for a quick visit would be number one for us. It was a mindless thing to watch but then they weren't going to an Oscar....were they? Gary Marshall put this together and to listen to him explain the deleted scenes was ...interesting? We actually had a few "disagreements" while trying to keep each other on track with the characters. Date movie? Only if you want to argue about whose who and didn't they make __ movie? Watch it alone.

I was very well rested after getting 2 hours and five minutes of sleep.
Here's an idea: put the subtitles on and turn the sound off. Why, you ask? Because anybody could read these lines better than the "actors" in this film. Predictable, trite, awkward. Go watch a youtube cat video - it's far more original and entertaining than this garbage.

February 14th, Valentines Day, is not a national holiday, but it is one of those days that must be celebrated. There are "special someones" in your life who expect to receive romantic gifts from their lovers. Commercialism has put a tremendous amount of pressure on men to give their lovers a romantic day with all the trimmings. Women are under pressure to have a man, or they feel desperate and unloved. Valentines Day follows the lives of several couples during this day. Their stories are told through the interconnections they have with each other. Some will find romance in their relationship, and others will feel the heartbreak of ending a relationship. In this Russian roulette world of finding love, everyone in the film is asking for advice on how to find and keep true love.
