I don't recommend the book if you have really high expectations like me.This book didn't meet my expectations at all. When i picked it up it sounded so promising but reading it was a disappointment. The beginning was great but it was a downhill slope after that. The events weren't exciting nor were the characters as the story progressed. Emotions didn't 'leap' off the pages. The whole book seemed.... "unfinished" and dry ...if you catch my drift. It could've been better, that's for sure. In the end it was simply the "letter" gemma wrote TELLING us what happened, not a story one can get absorbed in and experience too. I think that was its downfall- in my opinion. :P

It was good but I felt like it was missing something. I loved (but hated, if you know what I mean) Ty and how hes so different, and I love the uncertainty that Gemma feels. It was a good book, definitely worth reading, but fell short and didn't meet my expectations.

This book is the best book i have ever read sometimes in the book you think gemma is warming up to ty and other times she hates him, you never expect was happening next and its just an amazing book all together you wont be able to put it down its one of my favorites!! :)

this book was so intense and i couldn't put it down!! great read that leaves you with mixed feelings on the subject. it's hard to explain unless you read it, which you should!!

MY FEELSSSSS. the climax was actually pretty sad for me. and it made me really confused in the end since i fell in love with the antagonist even though i wasn't supposed to. haha... the ending was kind of abrupt tho. didn't like that. :/

Wow. This book is heavy stuff! It was nothing like I expected and such a weird/difficult/challenging topic to write about. I think the author did a good job of explaining what could happen in this sort of situation with realistic characters that you really connected with. It was a craaazzzy rollercoaster of emotions though! I will certainly be thinking about this for a while. I think the ending was well done, but a bit short, and I want to know what happens now!! haha If there was a sequel I would definitely read it. (Oh, and in case anyone is concerned, there isn't anything too graphic or disturbing in the book - other than being kidnapped lol)

One of the most amazing books I have ever read. Suspenseful, dark, complicated, and even heartbreaking. A very, very thought-provoking read.
