Notices
Add a NoticeSexual Content: The whole concept of the movie is sexual. I don't recommend this for tweens, but early teens if they are mature and know about homosexuality.
Quotes
Add a QuoteColumbia: You're very fortunate to be invited up to Frank's laboratory. Some people would give their right arm for the priviledge. Brad: People like you, maybe? Columbia: HA! I've seen it!
He's lucky, you're lucky, I'm lucky, we're all lucky! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

The Rocky Horror Picture Show was the Saint John Free Public Library's Thurs. Oct. 4/12 Scary Movie pick, preceded by: The Stranglers - "Waltz in Black"; Oingo Boingo - "Dead Man's Party"; "The Time Warp" from THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW; "This Is Halloween" from THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS; David Lindley - "Werewolves of London". Further questions for discussion: - Now that society has become more tolerant (or at least less likely to be shocked) by the kinkiness on display in ROCKY HORROR, how does the movie seem to you? Still transgressive, or a quaint reminder of another era? - Meat Loaf's appearance aside, what's your take on the soundtrack? This material seems a perfect fit for GLEE, and they did it back in Season 2; what did you think of what they made of it? - For those who have seen it performed live, how did it compare to the movie? Which do you feel is a better venue for the material: stage or screen?
I love this film. I could not compare it to anything I have already seen, it is like a firework of craziness, and I find it absolutely hilarious.
Oh my Gosh...this is one of the best movies ever!! :) It's completely insane, it has no morals whatever, and it's filled with catchy songs and lovable characters! I LOVE The Rocky Horror Picture Show!! :D
