Superman Brainiac
"When invader probes bombard our world, Superman journeys into the deepest reaches of space to confront his old foe. But the Brainiac he encounters is unlike any he's faced before. Aboard his massive ship, the one true Brainiac hoards wonders and horrors in equal measure. Only one treasure eludes him. Setting his sights on Superman, Brainiac will do anything to ensure that the Last Son of Krypton is his alone. Supergirl. Metropolis. Earth. Everything under Superman's protection is no longer safe. Although the Man of Steel is faster than a speeding bullet, even he won't be able to save everyone--" -- dust jacket.

This is the definite Brainiac. Forget about what you have originally known about the character. This story not only features the return of Kandor, also a loss for Superman that hits close at home to him. Since this year is the 75th anniversary of Superman, I would rank this story as one of the best Superman stories of all time.

Awesome artwork accomping an understandable story where Superman finally meets the real Brianiac.Like the pencilling work by Gark Frank who I think is comparable to Mike Dedato Jr. .
