Having only encountered several disparate "probes" before, Superman is faced with the real Brainiac's arrival and vicious attack on the Earth.

This is the definite Brainiac. Forget about what you have originally known about the character. This story not only features the return of Kandor, also a loss for Superman that hits close at home to him. Since this year is the 75th anniversary of Superman, I would rank this story as one of the best Superman stories of all time.

Awesome artwork accomping an understandable story where Superman finally meets the real Brianiac.Like the pencilling work by Gark Frank who I think is comparable to Mike Dedato Jr. .
