As much as I loved the movie, the book was even better. Loved the story since I was 12. The characters, setting--- It's truly an fun eyecandy for all ages!

My students (and myself) LOVE this book! It is a heartwarming story about a girl, a dog and her family. I reccommend it to everyone.

I thought that Because of Winn-Dixie was a very good story. My favourite character was Gloria Dump because she was very sweet and loved Opal to bits. I love Kate DiCamillo's work! Wonderful job!

This is a sweet story, although i expected it to be better than the movie which its not.

Nice :) read it in gr 4 for novel studies and I got hooked lol :D epic mostly for younger kids but still everyone read it ;)
