I read this book a few months ago thinking this will be a good time filler but ended up loving it and the plot!

I never know what to expect with Libba Bray's books and this one was no exception. I wont spoil it but I will say that I was bummed out by the ending after I got over being completely mind-blown by it. It was definitely an interesting read and I can't say it isn't worth it. But I do hope I don't end up with Mad Cow Disease. Ever.

Interesting ideas, but a little disappointing. It seems very real, and doesn't give the happy ending you want, but it felt like you got a half baked story either way.

I agree that it is similar to Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and that Cameron does resemble Holden too, but it reminds me more of the movies "Dude, Where's My Car?" and "Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle" (which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but the book will probably hold greater appeal if you're a guy reading it). After having read Beauty Queens by the same author, I'd have to say that this novel might be a bit of an acquired taste for some people but it's still highly enjoyable. Didn't really enjoy the ending.

I loved this book! I don't know how anyone wouldn't. My friend and I decided to read it just because the cover looked interesting. I read it in one day because it was so interesting. I was a little confused at first but when you realize what's happening it's just...I don't even know how to describe it. The end was beautiful and sad. I cried so much but I didn't mind. I was so happy that although he has mad cow disease, Cameron still got to live his life one way or another.

WATCH THE LANGUAGE in this book. I was surprised that it was as often as it was. The ending was interesting. I'm not sure if it was worth reading all the way through for though?

Totally different from her other novels. Satire at its finest i loved the dwarf character left me laughing throughout the book. A great read.

I didn't think I would enjoy this, but I did. Bizarre and not something you can read all the time, it was still engaging and hilarious. Not too sure if I liked the ending, though.

I got bored about half-way through and stopped reading. It seemed to me the author was trying too hard to be all cool and hip and in the process lost the intricacies of character. If you're interested in a y/a read that is complex and has a plot which keeps you reading, try "Peak" by Roland Smith. The main character grows and changes throughout the book and is a lot more believable as a character.
