This is a good teen action/mystery hybrid from the 80's. Has sort of the swashbuckling adventure and action similar to Indiana Jones at times. The fledgeling relationship between Holmes and Watson as well as the Sherlock Holmes mythos (the hat, the coat, the pipe, etc) are explored as well.

Good story. Excellent acting. Wonderful music score. This movie is more for teens. There is one or two disturbing scenes, so not good for younger audience.

This is an early Spielberg. Based on the supposition that Watson and Holmes may have gone to school together, the boys are already collaborating and solving mysteries. There is a bit of teenage romance, as well as action, suspense, and mystery. Well worth the watch.

This movie was too freaky. The only part I liked was when they flew in the airplane. This is good for people who like horror/mystery movies. I personally didn't like it.
