Add a CommentCute movie, it most certainly would fall under the chick flick catergory. I believe someone defined this movie asThe Karate Kid, but with food. That is a decent description.
It's good at the beg and med yet the ending kept you wanting more it was like"this is the ending o gosh i hope that theres a second movie" I guess it was that good!
I enjoyed this movie! Brittany is a great actress. She's gone too soon. Such a great actress.
Surprisingly enjoyable! Not necessarily a "teen movie."
A funny, gentle movie that doesn't break new ground in plots - think Karate Kid meets the Iron Chef - but makes for a pleasant date movie on a Saturday night. Brittany Murphy's production and acting contribution shows a talent that was cut short way too soon.
Surprisingly entertaining - the Japanese comedic actors make the movie.
Must See - Ramen Girl, The (2008) 102 min. Wonderful picture about a woman (Brittany Murphy) who’s abandoned in Tokyo by her boyfriend only to be be-friended unwillingly by a ramen restaurant owner and his wife. The film was a delight from the beginning to end and a perfect film for the talented Brittany Murphy. It’s a film about cultural diversity and tolerance. According to IMdb, this is not the last of Murphy’s pictures, thank goodness – there are three others in post-production.
This is a sweet, light-hearted film that makes me yearn for the ramen shops I loved in Japan.
not worth the time
