Really funny movie. And the Star Wars fans will love it.
So funny!
Very funny surprise appearance of Seth Rogen in a Star Trek Suit!
Fair – Fanboys (2008) 90 min. Four guys and a girl, all Star Wars junkies, take a trip to George Lucas’ Skywalker Ranch to steal Episode 1 of the Star Wars saga. The film is strictly intended for sci-fi, comic book fans who appreciate the million and one references to their favourite heroes. For all others, it’s a look at four guys in the 20s that never grew up. The film is mildly amusing with scenes depicting animosities between Star Trek and Star Wars fans, the number of cameos by Seth Rogen, Jay and Silent Bob (Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith, respectively), William Shatner, and Star Wars own Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia Organa, like duh) and Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian, of course). The film could’ve worked much better with a better cast perhaps but in the end, it’s a real hit and miss.
Totally hilarious! Geeks making fun of geeks, it doesn't get better than this.
