this movie had potential... unfortunately it was executed poorly and I am a disappointed Street Fighter fan. The actors were OK, I think the director could have done a much better job.

Good - Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li (2009) 96 min. This is a surprisingly good martial arts action film starring Kristin Kreuk (Lana of Smallville fame). The villain is evil as ever, the hero determined as ever which leads to an action packed confrontation. Though the film does sport terrible acting, I wonder if this was intentional as a way of recreating the video game for which this movie is based? Chris Klein, the Interpol agent, is so waxy in appearance you think you’re watching a video game. Kristin Kreuk worked out for this role and executed the moves to perfection. The film is simple but never silly. Unfortunately, the film is a wee bit violent for the little ones to enjoy.
