'Freak Show' is written in one of the best voices I've ever read. You feel like Billy is talking to you the whole time, gesturing wildly with his hands and by the end of the book you're best friends. An unusual choice for a main character, Billy is engaging, honest, positive even when he's down, funny, and downright memorable. Fantastic book times ten!!
I REALLY loved this book! The writing style is really unique and chillaxed. For some it might be hard to get used to, but for me I thought it was the most amazing thing ever. I thought the book was HILARIOUS and there are AT LEAST 15 quotable moments in it. Dang, I could quote the whole book, it was that great. So yeah, I definitely recommend it.
