Quotes
Add a QuoteDale Doback: You and your mom are hilbillies. This is a house of learned doctors. Brennan Huff: You're not a doctor... you're a big, fat, curly-headed fuck!
Dale Doback: Okay, here's the shot out of the cannon: Oprah, Barbara Walters, your wife. You gotta fuck one, marry one, kill one, go!
Dale Doback: [after hearing Brennan sing] You have the voice of an angel. Your voice is like a combination of Fergie and Jesus.
Nancy Huff: You yelled "rape" at the top of your lungs. Brennan Huff: Mom, I honestly thought I was gonna be raped for a second. He had the craziest look in his eyes. And at one point he said, "Lets get it on." Dale Doback: That was about the fighting. I am so not a raper! Brennan Huff: Look, I didn't touch your drum set, okay? Dale Doback: I witnessed with my eyes your testicles touching my drum set.

Comment
Add a CommentAlternately absurdist and satyrical, with a lot of heartwarming moments as well, which I think is what people really enjoy about Step Brothers. Most people feel their family is odd, but if one as unconventional as this mixed group can come to make ammends and realize they love one another, why can't we? "Do you like guacamole?"
There is very little that is funny about two grown men acting as children who often resort to crude behavior in order to get a laugh. I get it: too many of us lose our sense of fun and adventure as we face the responsibilities and expectations of adulthood. So, it is only because the intentions were good that I give “Step Brothers” 1-star.
I watched this movie again and again I really loved it and its really funny especially the boats and ho's musical video!
Hilarious!
Usually stupidity is the one thing that makes me laugh, but in this movie, it was a bit too much. Over the top, if you may.
It is safe to say that the hilarity and stupidity of Ferrell and Reilly's characters in this movie is pretty close to perfect. You might think they're creepy and just way too pathetic. But it's a given that's what they were going for. You'll be close to crying when it's all said and done feeling as though you laughed through the whole thing!Great buddy flick if you like childish potty humor you will love this movie!!
I actually didn't make it all the way through this one. Something about 40-year olds acting like 14-year olds made it more pathetic than funny.
Will Ferrell can do better.
Comedy, scripted a bit odd for my liking. Funny, when funny restless otherwise.
"Pure comedy genius"
