I'd been telling myself that I'd get around to watching this one someday, but given the time period of its release, I wasn't expecting much. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. It's no blockbuster, but I was definitely entertained.

Bonnie and Clyde is a Five Star All TIme Top Ten Pick of mine. Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway put in their best acting of all their movies. Gene Hackman adds a lot to the movie as Clyde's brother. It is all true and an wonderful story of crime, adventure, and romance. I watch this movie every couple of years just to enjoy it all over again!

Personally I love this movie. The cinematography is good and being watching my way through a 501 must see move list this has to be one of my favorites so far.

The movie was alright but I don't think the director dug deep enough into the characters. I feel like there is more to the story than what we see in this movie.

Oh, puleeze! While this is great cinematography, the whole story is based on a film writer's fantasy that has all the facts wrong. And while Bonnie and Clyde are depicted as glamourous characters in this movie, the true story is much harsher. Read the book "Go down together" to get the real account.

A bored small-town girl and a small-time bank robber leave in their wake a string of violent robberies and newspaper headlines that catch the imagination of the Depression-struck Mid-West in this take on the legendary crime spree of these archetypal lovers on the run.

Bonnie Parker: What would you do if some miracle happened and we could walk out of here tomorrow morning and start all over again clean? No record and nobody after us, huh?
Clyde Barrow: Well, uh, I guess I'd do it all different. First off, I wouldn't live in the same state where we pull our jobs. We'd live in another state. We'd stay clean there and then when we'd take a bank, we'd go into the other state.
