Add a Commentthe ultimate make-over book. Sweet, funny and a page turner.
I thought this book was pretty boring, even though the characters were pretty realistic and it was well written. I didn't really like the fact that its written in diary form simply because you don't get the same feel as if you were really following the person around in the story. I started reading the second book of this series, but couldn't finish because it was just too boring. One of the reasons I may find these books boring is because there isn't really a point to them, its just like her daily life, and since she writes in her diary so often, there isn't really anything new going on, just the same old same old written again and again. You never really see how the other characters in the book are like since its always in Mia's point of view.
I read this series in 6th grade and loved it. I read this book again recently (about 4 years later) and still loved it. Mia is so adorable and quirky. You can never get tired of it.
lol, hilarious, gotta love mia <3
the book much more interesting then a movie
This book is just perfect. I mean, it has a princess which is, in a way every girl's alter ego, but she's a cool princess not a Kate Middelton-esque, not that there's anything wrong with Kate, but her life's kind of blah. Any who... this book is laugh out loud funny, aswell as romantic, and has friendship which always makes a good book; plus there's this big makeover, and the annoying princess lessons, oh and the F in Algebra.
I have heard about this book before, but never bothered to read it. Once I read it, I fell in love and started reading the rest of the series.
If you love reading a book filled with relationships, heartache, chrushes, emotional rollar coasters, hot guys (i.e. Micheal Moscovitz), flunking geometry, mom with crush, annoying grandmother, and so much more wait who am i kidding just read the book and the rest ot the series it's a read for any teen girl!
Hilariously funny! Read the whole series.=)
"While Mia Thermopolis’s journey to the throne is more unconventional than Kate Middleton’s, readers everywhere (and their inner princess-loving 10-year-old self) will enjoy Mia’s quest to discover who she is and whether she has what it takes to rule in Meg Cabot’s now-classic YA series, The Princess Diaries."
