For Annabel Greene her life has always been about photo shoots, the right gigs and the right friends. From the outside, it looks like she is the girl who has everything. But it’s time to look behind the camera lens. That one summer, worsened Annabel’s social life and state of mind. Her family isn’t of any assurance either. Taking care of her sister and meeting her manager-her mother’s needs. Far from a perfect life, but soon a six- four giant Owen Armstrong plays into her life. Together, they discover the importance of truth, music and how everything in life would fold into place, if you just listen. As a reader and a romance genre lover, I felt that this book was a heartwarming story and a page turner. Owen is a character that has a tough guy persona as well as a passionate and humorous soul. All of these combine a great formula for the male protagonist. I enjoyed how original, the character of Owen was. He was not some prince charming popular jock type that the main character would have a romantic connection to in other teen stories. I felt he was portrayed as a relatable sixteen years old with his IPod and love for music. There are also supporting characters who I was able to picture inside my head. One of the being Whitney Greene, Annabel’s sister. A character I feel is relatable to some readers because of her condition. I felt Whitney’s role in the story was rather poetic. Actually, when I think about it, the whole story is quite poetic, the idea of just listening to everything around you, all of your surroundings, is so beautifully true. The title of the story is what I like the most because it is a great reflection of the story even though it is simple and short. This book is a must read and I recommend it for teenagers, it covers some major issues.

Another home run for the author.

All I can really say is the author was really descriptive ...tried to get to the conversation just lot of description which is good in a way because you have a lot of information to picture certain scenes in your head . Overall I'd give this book a 4 out of a 5 . Pretty Good.

Sarah Dessen is one of my favorite authors, I am never disapointed by her books. This book is really good. There are so many things going on at once but they all came together really great. Nice to now that Remy and her bf (from This Lulluby) where in a chapter in here.

really great book! I loved it <3

Quite good. I love music myself, so it was nice to be able to relate with a character who's always on the lookout for a good song.
