… More »Former Sweathog Gabe Kotter returns to his alma mater, Brooklyn's James Buchanan High School to teach a new generation of Sweathogs, a group of supposedly unteachable, under-achieving and incorrigible students. They are: Vinnie Barbarino, the group's wise-cracking leader; Juan Epstein, a Puerto Rican Jew; dimwitted Arnold Horshack; and cool Freddie "Boom-Boom" Washington. Gabe tries to reach out to these students by relating his own experiences to the students, but is often hindered in his efforts by cantankerous vice-principal, Michael Woodman.

Add a CommentI was a little too young to watch this tv series in the 70's but I really enjoyed it. The actors who play the students are hilarious, including a young John Travolta.
