THIS IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE ANIME MOVIE, AND COMES VERY CLOSE AS MY FAVORITE MOVIE OF ALL TIME. It is sooo breathtaking and beautiful, sooo amazing and alive, sooo extremely wonderful. It is almost flawless-the characters are very well-defined and life-like, the dialogue is wonderful, the scenery is gorgeous, and the story is magical. This is one of Miyasaki's best, and if you're an avid anime/Miyasaki fan and you haven't watched this anime YOU ARE MISSING AN ENTIRE WORLD OF AWESOME. If you have seen this, I recommend the book. Although the two are quite different (though they have the same basic story line), the book is just as wonderful as the movie, in the "book-ish" way. Miyazaki took Dianna Wynne Jones's classic story and brought it to life-with his own little touch. Sophie is very relateable, and Howl is so dashing and charming that after I first saw this, I couldn't think of anything but Howl for over a month! Beautiful, breathtaking, magical, mysterious, funny, amazing, and...JUST AWESOME. WATCH THIS MOVIE!!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT IF YOU DON'T!!! HOWL AND SOPHIE ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is definitely up there with my favorite movies of all time and is definitely my favorite Studio Ghibli movie! The characters are original and quite funny at times (There's no point in living if I can't be beautiful!), the story is great, and the visuals are spectacular! (Not to mention the music) The entire movie is really charming and just a great watch for everyone!

OMG! THIS IS AN AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME... you get it.

I finally watched Howl's Moving Castle for the first time last year, and I absolutely loved it! The animation style is gorgeous, and the story is fantastic! I can't wait to watch more of the movies Hayao Miyazaki has directed, and to read the book that this fantastic movie was based off of!
