I have read this book yet again! and I enjoyed it as much as the other times! The details are so precise and well, detailed that I felt like I was reading it for the first time !
Shy, quiet, and clumsy Bella moves from Phoenix, Arizona to live temporarily with her father while her mother travels with her new husband. There, she finds herself intrigued by the mysterious Edward Cullen and his family. She later learns that they are vampires. Trouble starts brewing when James, another vampire, catches a whiff of Bella's scent, and starts a deadly hunt for Bella's blood.

About three things I was absolutely positive. First, Edward was a vampire. Second, there was part of him — and I didn’t know how potent that part might be — that thirsted for my blood. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him. (Permanently etched in my mind...)

Comment
Add a CommentTwilight is a greatly develped book with both mystery and suspense. reading this book for me helped me in alot of ways. it helped me advance my vocabualry and made my mind open to new ideas it gave me a new out look on life
My new favorite book series. It was so hard to put the books down!!
I will always have a soft spot for this book because I read it when I moved from dry, big sky Alberta to a claustophobic green and wet Island off the west coast. So right away I "connected" with Bella. It's a great book if you like this genre (which I do) with a beautiful love story that reminded me of my husband and I. It's worth mentioning though that is is not a normal healthy teen relationship, these are made up people in a made up world (I'd compare it to Romeo and Juliet - intense and wonderful story, not role models). The movies do not do the books justice, which is sad because they could have been great.
Best book of the series.
Hey, I like Twilight! D :
ive never read this im just judging this book by its cover it looks sooo stupid the only reason i have this on my shelves is because i want this book to have a bad rating
i love twillight i am team edward i love him he is my hero and my life he is awesome and cuter then jacob.
Great book!
Wasn't able to mentally force myself to finish the first few chapters of this book. It may have fans raving about it like crazy but it was truly a huge effort on my part just getting through the first chapter -- the progression was irritatingly slow. I'm sure this author has amazing literary talent, but I'm incapable of immersing in this particular series and line of characters. Perhaps I'll try again getting through this someday. I just hope it wasn't as poorly executed as the movies.
I love this book. I wouldnt say it's brilliant or literary genius but there is something simple and amazing about the plot. Its like comfort food. I've read it three times. The first time, I couldnt put it down, and the 2 times after it was a nice light enjoyable read. A big piece of apple pie a-la-mode.
