So... this is it? This is the infamous 30 Days of Night Horror-comic that shook the comic industry? The plot is simplistic. There's no build up. There's no tension no character development... Steve NIles is a fan of horror movies but even some of the worst horror flicks to a better job of build up and story telling. I give this comic a rating of M: for Meh...
It's not an entirely original take on vampires, but it is a great read. It's so nice to see an author who's willing to represent vampires as monsters and not melancholic, brooding, complainers.
Awesome, just re-read it. Really shouldn't have even been a movie.
The original (and best) of the 30 Days of Night series. Despite the gore and horror, it is a touching love story.
