An ultra high-tech military robot known only as Number 5, undergoes a dramatic transformation when he is short-circuited during a thunderstorm. Number 5 finds himself wanting peace and love instead of war. When the Army accidentally discards him, a series of mishaps lead him to the catering truck of a beautiful young woman. Ruthless government agents are intent on destroying the robot but his inventor is determined to save him. When they all learn where Number 5 is hiding, the chase is on. Special effects bring the film's robot magically to life. (Circulates)
