The Poet ---- By Michael Connelly c - 2004 ---- I have to find my notes. ---- Enjoy! ---- RichardPaul
This is a very good one. No at grafic as some by connelly. I recommend it.
Michael Connelly is my favorite mystery writer. I was introduced to his writing in The Poet and was totally engrossed in the story. I have read all of his mysteries since that time and always find his stories to warrant a 4 star or 5 star rating. I have not found this to be true with other authors.
Great plot concept. Well done. Very good read. Poe refs.
Although not a Harry Bosch novel, The Poet is a great story in its own right. The Poet also introduces characters that will interact with Bosch in the future- Rachel Walling and Jack McEvoy. Even knowing who the bad guy was before I read it, there were twists and turns I didn't anticipate.
