I loved Gillian Anderson! Great acting on her part, beautiful clothes, scenery, and music. I totally enjoyed it. I haven't read the book so I had no expectations. Dan aykroyd was terrible as well as Eric stole in parts.

Not a very good movie, despite having garnered some good reviews. Acting is ordinary at best and often just plain poor. Director didn't seem to put much into it. Tried to copy some methods used in similar British dramas but missed badly

Loved the book - didn't translate too well into movie. I blame the director.
