A great family film, for 10 and up. There's cartoonish peril, and slapstick violence, but also clear lessons about persistence and heroism.

Great, funny family movie. I was surprised at how many characters in there that I already know!

Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian --- DVD --- with Ben Stiller as the night guard, Amy Adams as a very comely Amelia Earhart and Hank Azaria as a most nasty piece of work with a most curious lisp portraying the wicked Kahmunrah bent on taking over the entire world. This movie features historical figures (and prehistoric ones too) ranging from Abraham Lincoln and Napoleon Bonaparte to a prehistoric Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton. The animation is superb bringing so many of the figures (including the dinosaur as well as a bust of Teddy Roosevelt (Robin Williams) to life. VBut then effects such as these had become quotidian even before the 2009 release of this film. Entertaining, engaging, amusing: all these words describe this video. Enjoy it. Let the kids watch it. Let yourself watch it. It’s good.

A magical , and enchanting family film, about a down on his luck New Yorker Larry Daley who gets a job as the night watchman for the Museum of Natural History and discovers that the museum has something unusual about it. The exhibits at night come to life. Wonderful and delightful.

I saw this at a theatre in London England, and loved it. Such a fun followup to the first Night at the Museum, and adds new characters, and a new setting, The Smithsonian to the plot. I liked Amy Adams in her role of Amelia Earhart, and thought she and Ben Stiller made a cute onscreen couple. Hank Azaria as in many of his performances was a delightful villian as Kahmunrah, the wicked pharaoh, who wants the magic tablet that brings all the museum residents to life. Loads of excitement and a joy.
